Ribbons for Reflecting - March 23rd National Day of Reflection

High Legh Ribbons for Reflecting
12 months on from the start of the first lockdown an opportunity for the community to reflect, support and hope.
St John’s invites you to collect a ribbon and to tie it onto the railings by the Woodland Walk to show how we, along with the whole nation, reflect on what was, give thanks and continued support for what we have and look forward with hope for a better future

Collect a ribbon from church or outside the school main gate
Please choose whichever coloured ribbon(s) matches your thoughts:
  • Reflect: Purple – for grief - remembering everyone who has died especially those whom we have loved
  • Support: Rainbow- for thanks for all health & care workers, frontline staff & keyworkers
  • Hope: Gold – for hope as we step into the future

Please take a prayer, if you wish, to use as you tie your ribbon(s) & at home
Ribbons will be available from March 22nd until April 5th
On April 6th they will be removed and taken to St John’s
